Veterans Minor Capital Works Grant Program

The Veterans Minor Capital Works Grant Program supports building and facility improvements for not-for-profit organisations delivering services to veterans and their families.

The program is designed to:

  • support facility improvements that will enable expanded use by other organisations, including shared usage and improved connections with the community
  • improve the use of facilities for current and potential veterans by addressing safety, accessibility, amenity, layout and other facility issues
  • improve facilities to expand the range of uses within the organisation for veterans and to attract new members and/or users of the facility
  • improve facilities to enable efficiencies in operation and better financial sustainability

Funding range of grant

The program is designed to support projects with a contribution up to $50,000 (excluding GST) for capital works projects.

A project costing more than $50,000 may be eligible for the Veterans Major Capital Works Grant Program. Please note that for each project you can only apply to one of the Veterans Capital Works Grant Programs.


Ex-service organisations, local government authorities and not-for-profit organisations are eligible provided the project is based in Victoria. Applications from other types of organisations may be considered on a case by case basis. Unincorporated organisations may arrange for an incorporated organisation to act as an auspice on their behalf.

If you are an auspice organisation, you must read the information in the auspice arrangement downloadable document below and sign this form to show that you understand the terms of entering into an auspice arrangement. The form must be submitted as an attachment to the grant application.
