Case study: Donations Management System

The Donations Management Team at the Victorian Bushfire Reconstruction and Recovory Authority (VBRRA) won the IPAA Innovation in Public Sector Award 2010 for policy development.

The team used innovation to:

• design their donations management system,
• effectively collaborate with others inside and outside of government and
• in how they harnessed the diverse talents and capabilities of their team.

This case study examines the hallmarks of public sector innovation that characterised the success of the DMS and shares and the learnings and insights across the VPS.
