MINISTER ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR FOR MARINE SAFETY VICTORIA
Minister for Transport, Peter Batchelor, today announced the appointment of Brian Riches as the Director of Marine Safety in Victoria.
Mr Batchelor said Mr Riches brings a wealth of experience in the marine safety sector to this position and is well placed to lead Marine Safety Victoria into the future.
“Mr Riches’ extensive experience within Maritime Safety in Western Australia and the Australian Maritime Safety Authority will ensure the best delivery of Marine Safety Victoria’s strategic outcomes.
“His appointment reflects the Bracks Government’s commitment to delivering better safety outcomes for Victoria’s recreational and commercial boaters,” said Mr Batchelor.
