Final Report of the Commonwealth-Victoria Working Party on Migration
The Commonwealth-Victoria Working Party on Migration was established to consider how the Australian Government could work to support the Victorian Government to achieve its objective of encouraging more migrants to settle in Victoria, with a particular emphasis on regional areas, where skills shortages are more acute. It comprised representatives from relevant Commonwealth and State Departments, local government and regional Victoria.
The Final Report of the Working Party was released on 21 February 2005. Hard copies of the report can be obtained by contacting the Department of Premier and Cabinet on (03) 9651 2183.
