2008 NSW-Victoria Senior Officials' Cross-Border Issues Meeting

The Secretary of the Department of Premier and Cabinet was joined at the meeting by the Deputy Director-General of NSW's Department of Premier and Cabinet and other Victorian and NSW Senior Officials to discuss cross-border issues.

The outcomes of this meeting can be found in the Communique (Word 60kb).

On 14 August 2008, NSW and Victorian officials hosted a NSW-Victoria Local Representatives' Cross-Border Issues Consultation Forum to update local representatives on the progress of cross-border issues and to receive feed-back on new cross-border issues of concern. Many of the issues of concern raised already have cross-border arrangements in place or are being dealt with by other forums such as COAG.
