Victorian Government Branding Policy
The Victorian Government Branding Policy (PDF 2.13mb) provides Government agencies with comprehensive guidelines for branding of internal and external communications.
Matters covered in the Branding Policy
The Policy was updated in July 2007. It includes:
- Downloadable versions of all branding devices (see below for details on how to download).
- Detailed information on branding devices: how and when to use them.
- Authorisation tags: for print, radio, TV, and online media.
- Community Information Billboards: construction requirements, sizes, and layout details.
- Stationery: letterhead, envelopes, and business cards.
- Contact details for queries, requests for exemptions, and logo approvals.
Downloading a Victorian Government brand.
The Policy PDF contains the Government's branding devices in JPG, .GIF, and .PDF/.EPS formats that you can download.
- Switch off your pop-up blocker on your internet browser.
- Open up the Victorian Government Branding Policy (PDF 2.13mb)
- Decide which device you require (e.g. Slogan, Insignia, Project/Initiative, Crest).
- Go to the page with information and a table on that device. This should be on page 10, 11, 12, or 15 of the Policy.
- Identify the type and format you would like (e.g. landscape, reverse, PMS 541, black, eps, jpg, etc. ).
- Click on the tick symbol for your preference in the table. You will know that you can download it as the cursor changes, and a weblink appears when you hover over the tick symbol.
- Follow any prompts as required.
