Guidelines and Procedures

This section contains guidelines and procedures relating to:

• Freedom of Information
  Includes relevant information and links about Freedom of Information including how to request information held by the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
• Information Privacy
  Information about the Department's Information Privacy Policy. The Department and its service providers are committed to maintaining the privacy of personal information.
• Whistleblowers Protection Act
  Includes a link to the Department's established Procedures under Section 68 for Handling Disclosure under the Whistleblowers Protection Act 2001, designed to complement normal communication channels between managers and employees.
• Commonwealth and State Agreements
  Information about the Department’s responsibility for intergovernmental agreements.
• Whole of Government Contracts and Panels
  Contains a listing of a range of contracts which are in place and available for use by Victorian Government agencies. These are established and managed by the Procurement Group, Department of Treasury and Finance in conjunction with other Departments.
• Parliamentary documents
  Provides a link to all Bills currently before the Parliament of Victoria. Bills are proposals for legislation put before Parliament for its consideration.
• Advisory Bodies
  Contains information about the State Coordination and Management Council, Premier's Aboriginal Advisory Council and Steering Committee for the Review of Commonwealth-State Service Provision.
• Communications
  Includes policies and guidelines for the Victorian government on communications, advertising and branding.
• General Order and Supplements
  Contains a the General Order and a list of Supplements and lists the Acts of Parliament that fall under each Minister's portfolio.
